Interior Rear View Mirror Mod

Another plea for advice - I have recently removed the standard S4 rear wing and fitted a S4s wing which I prefer.

Two problems need solving :

1. What is the best way of lowering the interior mirror so I can see more of the road behind.

In the parts list there is a "Mirror Buffer" # P691.1505.001AF for the sport 300.

There is no picture so is this what I need or is there a simple DIY modification?

2. There are now 5 rather unsightly holes in my Engine Cover. One (the big one where the wires for the stop lamp go through) is covered by a standard small plastic domed chrome plug painted black which looks a bit naff. The others are covered rather well by black tape and from a distance look sort of OK. I really don't want to go to the expense right now of removing the cover, having the holes filled and then re-painted.

Any suggestions ??

BTW - I now have a Black, perfect condition, S4 wing for sale - anybody want it?

Also a Black US spec numberplate plinth.

I've fitted the same wing to my turbo. TBH I have ditched the original mirror and bought a stick on one. It sits really low down the screen and I can see under the spoiler perfectly. You can't see the holes in the headlining due to there position.

I can't imagine the S4 and S4s rear view mirror would be different.

I can't see much with the S4s wing, but you quickly get use to it.
