Lotus eclat on Minder

I was working from home today so sitting at home eating breakfast at the time i would normally be commuting up the M3.... I flipped through the channels, and there was an episode of Minder on ITV4, featuring Arthur Daley trying to fleece the owner of a yellow Lotus eclat 521, offering him £5k then trying to sell it to Dave from the pub for £7k.......

 

Kept referring to it as a "specialist motor" and saying they "fall out of bed pricewise" (ie they depreciate badly)

 

Dave responded with something like "I wanted you to get me a nice Capri or something"

That scene was filmed opposite what was the location for The Winchester Club, next to Chalk Farm tube station, London. There were several "Winchester Club" locations, one in Winchester Rd, Swiss Cottage!. I lived just around the corner.   There's also another episode with this same Eclat in it and Anthony Valentine playing the owner again.
