First winter shots from this winter

Recommended Posts

Took a trip a week ago to my parents and to a friend. It took whole day just me and my camera :P

I think because of this photo it was worth of it, talking about timing...

Here are some "sunny photos" near my parents:

Next one isn't so special photo, I just wanted to show you how our roads look like on wintertime:

Hmm. that left is a nice one to go with sideways :D

When I was leaving my parents the sun started to go down:

Visiting my friend, from these photos you can almost taste the coldness:

We recently got 6" of snow, in one night, here in Boulder Colorado... One day later it was back to t-shirts again.

Some of the ski areas are already open.

I might have to go boarding soon, but after 20 years I've gotten spoiled and usually wait for deep powder.

usually wait for deep powder.

and you cant beat Colorado powder,, had 14" overnight when I was in Vail some years back, awesome!!

its all skier talk, I will transalate for you, Colorado powder snow is known as champagne powder, it has a very low water content therefore is very light and superb to ski in . 14" overnight refers to the depth of snow that has fallen in the previous night.

the slightly tacky sexual inuendo came from your mind not mine, however many skiiers would compare skiing fresh powder snow as being better then sex, certainly lasts longer...

one of my best powder days was laying down 17 sets of tracks next to each other, had whole mountainside to myself for a an hour or so,

Lived in Colorado all my life, snowbaorded for the last 20 years, though I do have to say that the best snow I've ever boarded in was in Arizona... We were at Flagstaff (not a porn reference) and got 18" over night on the monday, and another 36" on tuesday night...!!!!

Powder on a board is heaven. Throw in some trees and a few glades, some aspen groves, some little frozen streams...

I can't believe it's so cold and snowy already.

Looks beautiful but I don't know if I could put up with it for months on end.
