Nice to see Kyle's 1970 Lotus 61MX next to it. A righteous man with a righteous Lotus Barn.

If that's St. Louis, I'm assuming the yellow Stevens Esprit must be Eric Nordstrom's? He now owns my old '83 Turbo.

A bit delicate, that would be, but thanks for the invitation. Eric (then Lotus, Ltd. President) and I (a national board member), simultaneously resigned from LL in disgust in 2012 or 2013 (I forget when exactly, because it's not something I care to remember) over some nauseating political horseshit that I won't bother you with. I think most of the LL board members are great, but there are a few who are purely political and more interested in their crusty old image than in LL's evolution, which I think is utterly stagnant. Partly because of the politics and partly because of systemic limitations, LL isn't exactly an organization that's receptive to new ideas. They could really grow if they'd take a cue from Golden Gate. Anyway, I've always had way more fun going to Hethel, visiting MJK, Kimbers, Kim, and that Bibs guy--and pretty much every other person I've met at the TLF party, than I have at a LOG.

Plus, ya know, Kimbers might drop his drawers again, and really, no LOG can top that.
