Best cleaning products for Eclat cloth interior

Recommended Posts

Wondering if anyone has any preferred methods or products for cleaning, protecting and generally keeping in tip top shape the cloth interior & seats of an Eclat.  Just worried they might need some special treatment and not the usual car interior cleaning products.

Errr, yes.  That's it really!

In the past I have used a Vax wet and dry machine with an additive that I picked up at a proffessional valeting firm.

But the best ever I have used, particularly for stubbon stains like water marks etc. is the AutoGlym upholstery cleaner available in Halfords or cheaper on the internet if you find a seller doing free postage.

It isn't cheap but the results speak for themselves. Once clean and dry you could apply a spray of Scotch Guard to keep the seats clean longer.

This is going to sound strange, but the best description I could find of the material over the dash and everywhere is "furry".

You may need something like a dry cleaner for the furry type dash and try a small inconspicuous area first.
