With the low nose, ramps are out, unless they are very shallow, or adjustable ones.

 

he best way to jack it up is using the scissor jack with the long handle under the front of the chassis, (you will see the chassis area with three circular holes (left, middle, rear).

 

Jack it up here to give it a start from normal ground level, then put something else like a trolley jack on the other side one you have it lifted slightly. Remember to put something else independant to stop it falling off the jack and squashing you if the jack topples.

Re ramps, I just place a short plank of wood on the ramp ladder, about half way up, extending the ramp at a shallower gradient.  Works a treat.

 

Re. jacking the front.  I tend to use a trolley, in from the wheel arch.  Jack it up a little bit under the turret, stick a brick under the wheel, release the jack, then jack it up again with the jack placed more centrally.  Always stick a piece of wood between the jack and the front chassis member to prevent you damaging / bending the member.
