Courtesy Light Not Working - Sort Of

My courtesy light works when I open the door and at night when I turn off the ignition.  But if I use the rocker switch it doesnt?

 

Any ideas?  I reckon the switch is broken.  Does anyone know what car is the donor for these?

If you are going to replace it anyway have you tried taking the cover off the old one - may be an obvious bad or loose connection. Haven't tried it on the Evora, but the covers usually pull/prise off easily.
