Fortis 31
Sorry that you are having trouble with your LF1 Brian, yes I think you have been unlucky and I am sure it will get sorted. I think the factory has been under pressure to get these cars built with customers ringing dealers asking when their cars will be ready (like me). So I suppose certain jobs might have been rushed through, but it must be frustrating when all you want to do is enjoy your car. I must have been lucky with my car, as since picking it up I have not had any problems and the paintwork is really good. But I have only done 800 miles in it so far. I presume the dealer and Lotus are trying to sort things quickly for you.
LF1 564
Bit of a concern you are being told not to use V-Power, we go out of our way to only put V-Power in ours, do the same with our other petrol cars. Our LF1 has had nothing other than V-Power and 3k miles, including a couple of track days - no issues here. Quote Lotus Register - https://www.lotusregister.com
Simon350S 192
V-Power isn't the problem, I'm surprised the dealer even muttered those words as they've a good reputation among the Scottish owners. Did they say what they did to fix the problem, apart from just reset and clear the stored codes? Quote Chunky Lover
