Worst DIY mechanic jobs

Lol, they are fun aren't they !

I've changed fronts/rears , pas pipes & clutch pipe, all a right pain!

<anger and frustration coming out>

I've given up on trying to disassemble the b******s now. So many inaccessible unions or they just round off with an open ended spanner. I just get the angle grinder on them instead in my fury, fixed pipes, flexibles, I don't care anymore! Just replace the whole bloody lot, it's far easier.

Put my head above the parapet for this one I know a mates a mate he's a plumber he only helped me off with a double rad then I get the job of changing his A/C Condenser not sure if it was bolted to the car or the car to it

Ha, that's a pretty gay hammer that you are using there. Mine would have been club stylee to shift the thing... :2guns:

I tempted fate...now my Esprit V8 IS in bits...(sob)

I've had bigger hammers but couldn't lift them u look a real fool leaving the tool shop with your new hammer on a trolley.

That's what I told a former girlfriend. Needless to say the awful reality resulted in her leaving me

True enough - but not the wallets friend......

Would have used them on the seat frames - but studs needed welding in - suppose I could have used ss nuts - but I don't reckon I shall be taking them out anytime soon .......... Until next time..

Only here once

Both.

Yes, it Works nicely. No more sheared off bolts because of rust, as per wheeler dealers. Not that mine boke off, nor were they rusty, but I thought better do it preventatively.

Cheers,

Jacques.

ps: to make the child enjoy the outdoor, use the cabletie on a lamppost near the driveway. That should scare off the neighbours dog pissing in your driveway.

Practical, simple and effective.

Nobody does it better - than Lotus ;)

I'm about to rebuild the engine on my esprit, so that should be fun.

Amateurs built the Ark

Professionals built the Titanic

Cable ties work on the engine rebuild as well. As for the five year old, she still remembers the screaming match and she is now plus 30, oh dear does make us seem old, ah well at that time a cable tie was a piece of bailer twine and we had no street lights out in them there sticks.

Exhaust manifold gaskets & turbo gaskets on a Nissan skyline gtr twin turbo, I had to modify plenty of tools for that one !
