1976 520 bumpers

What can you use to fill in these bumpers with? They look like some type of foam?? Just want it to look clean again.

Hi Bruce,

 

The US Federal spec bumpers (fenders) are different from the ones on the European spec cars.

 

Consequently, I have only ever seen US spec bumpers in pictures, so can't really offer any advice as to what goes inside.

 

However if your US bumpers have fallen to peices, you could perhaps go for the cleaner euro look and have the car as the stylist intended. I saw an advert for them in the US. I think it is Dave Bean that is offering Euro Bumpers.
