Gutting an SE turbo...

Before it goes on LEW / eBay etc I'd thought I'd give the heads up on this.

I should be gutting the interior tomorrow so I have all of the SE interior in raven grey (?) and very good condition apart from the drivers seat which needs the 'seat' part worked on (pad slides forward)

Practically EVERYTHING inside the car is offski inc. steering wheel, console, beige (worn) carpet, door cards, sun visors and so on.

EDIT : I have the rear and soon to be front braking calipers (disks are totally bleh - just get EBC ones) also up for grabs.

One slight bit of confusion to wrap up is the binacle is not beng removed for the time being but may do later when I get digital dials and odometer etc.

Oh - My - God

I've just finished working on car today - it's taken me about 4 hours to strip the carpet from the drivers side well alone. None of the carpet is available now btw unless you want it in 1" torn square pieces !!!

I can't believe how much glue Lotus used for this job, I don't even think the GT3's carpets are stuck down, low and behold they're still in the car ! WTH were they thinking when they decided to glue every square mm down to the car !?! Worried how the GRP is going to stand up not it's lost 1/2 it's structural integrity

Might try and steam clean the rest up and off, is there any recomended thinner for the glue that wont start melting my floor pan (take it Lotus had 1/2 the worlds supply of 1 year tin life evo stick).

Total nuts.
