LF1 - Removable roof panel?

Recommended Posts

This is a silly question I know, but I remember that on exige s2 you could remove the roof panel, not easy but possible. Does this still apply to the v6? I am thinking specifically about the LF1?

That's a question for this section of the forum...

but yes, you can ask your dealer to remove it and do a soft-top conversion too.

Yes in just the same way the S2 roof panel did.... mine was off all summer,

The only small difference is that on the LF1 (not sure about other V6's) they fitted tamper proof bolts instead of the usual torq's bolts,

However that just means they have a pin in the middle of the star & once removed can be replaced with a standard fixing..

Yep, roof comes off exactly the same as the S2 Exige.  The S2 Elise softop will also fit once you have the roofbar grommets fitted.  I'm sure Ishy won't moind me posting a couple of his pics
