Arun_D
I'm always impressed to see the stated power figure consistently nailed on the head for the KT customers (be it on their dyno or otherwise). It should be a given, especially with your particular job being a custom map, but nonetheless I'm sure there are many a tuning product (not necessarily speaking Lotus here) that don't deliver. As you say there should be plenty of headroom for the future when (not if) you want it. What were your initial impressions of the Quaife? 550superfast
Dynos are dynos, I'm not that keen on them after struggling to get figures from my car last year. But a dyno is needed to custom map. The plan is to leave it where it is for the season then decide what to do late this year. Quaife - bit early to say, I was pretty careful at the Ring as I was not on my sticky tyres and generally just trying to respect the place, and using race mode. 1 Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica
BfranklynV6
That’s a mighty impressive dyno. I’m amazed at how early you are getting the torque and how linear the power delivery is right up until 7k rpm. Do you know if it’s rear wheel power or calculated engine power? @Arun_D I suspect there is headroom in terms of power generation, but not in terms of gearbox or engine internals. Green is measured wheel power, red is calculated (green + pink). Looks pretty good, @550superfast Dave
GFWilliams
Interesting figures, for those interested in a normal 460 package, mine had less torque at 477nm, but I had 0.4ps more power 😆
Popular Post 550superfast
@GFWilliams - the plan with mapping my car was to keep it at around EX460 levels for the time being as stated in a few posts back as this is well tested to be reliable. We had the option to get much more but chose not to. I'm more interested in how it feels to drive and a lap time as a performance benchmark. The dyno was a tool for doing the job. I will be at Spa and other tracks seeing how my car compares to the previous set up and running with other EX460 cars. From my initial Euro trip on the autobahns and round the Ring I am very happy with the upgrade. 4 Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica

Even larger delta I expect as several 720’s have been dyno’d at 800bhp as stock ! Popular Post 550superfast
A couple of pics from a dawn run last weekend to liven up an old thread. Not been driving much this year as I have a project on at home. Hopefully I can get a trip to Spa before the year is out. 6 Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica
Arun_D
Lovely, Gary. We are blessed with some great roads and scenery in Sussex. I'm pondering a little thread revival too on mine, got to remind the folks that us Cup (R) owners are still alive and kicking.

The new surface is super smooth. but took a long time for a dry line to appear. The Pits
Very fast time, nicely done. Much enjoyed my passenger laps in it last year, is the car even faster since then?

BfranklynV6
Well driven, very impressive. Also, there was a white 350 you were chasing which was rapid. That thing can’t be stock surely?
