Fortis 31
I was wondering if any one has fitted the trd air filter part # ptr43-00084 into their V6. If so did it improve the induction noise etc.
dixie v6 50
I had the simular BMC filter , didn't make any difference in induction noice.. I made my own intake and this sounds great :
alias23 1,519
Which MAF mount did you get and where from? Any noticeable difference in performance? Quote www.alias23.com
dixie v6 50
If it's faster,I don't know but I like the sound it's making. This is the MAF mount with air staightener you need, and I bought an aluminium pipe with inside diameter 76mm (same diameter as stock pipe were MAF is mounted) outside diameter of alu pipe was 80mm.(MAF mount is the same as Subaru) http://www.ebay.com/itm/261392959252?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT This is the alu pipe I bought: http://www.ebay.de/itm/171542419825?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT And this is the BMC filter I bought: http://www.ebay.de/itm/281122625931?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITJust forgot to mention,I bought the 76mm connection BMC filter but you should buy the 80 mm connection BMC filter: http://www.bmcairfilters.com/conical-filters%2ftwin-air-filter/fbtw80-140_d266_1.aspx

rasasoufe 5
I've just ordered an aFe filter on Amazon.com http://afepower.com/shop/details_new.php?partno=30-10151&filter&menu=gas&engine=3.5L&searchtype=vehicle&make=Toyota&model=Camry&year=2009&engine=3.5L&&brandID=59 aFe apparently is the oem supplier to Toyota for TRD filters. Nice thing is they have oiled and non oiled filters which I think is better to keep the MAF sensor clean. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285101
rasasoufe 5
Hi Dixie, Nice work!! And a little bit cheaper then the Lotus Motorsport intake . Where did you place the air straightner exactly? Just after the filter at the begining of the intake pipe or just before the MAF sensor.
