S1 single motor headlamp mechanicals and microswitch wiring

In case this is useful to anybody else, this thread is to show some pictures of the early single motor S1 headlamp motor microswitch wiring since the workshop manual doesn't depict which wire goes where.

 

Firstly the 'DOWN' microswitch mounted on the top of the motor assembly, mine had 4 terminals. Second photo shows both switches.  

 

The UP microswitch is a manufactured by a company called 'Crouzet' and carries a part number of 83131, but seems no longer available - so don't break it !
