Lotus Eclat Riviera S2.2 LHD Automatic

Recommended Posts

Here some pics of the rare LHD Eclat Riviera S2.2 Automatic,

Probably one or two made worldwide, this is a really rare car!! 78.000 Kilometers, bought from the second owner who was a car collector in Belgium.
Highly colectable car, also verry original.

This car is 100% original with all the options available from 1982. Second last Built eclat ever!

I know that there still is one blue LHD Riviera in Germany. I wonder are there any other somewhere LHD's?

There is also a red one inside france i saw it a couple of years ago for sale,

and the blue one must be the one out of a lotus book (i have some pictures of a LHD riviera) when it was new,

the blue one in Germany is just one digit before Tocus´ advert.

@Jean: do you have some pictures of the blue one?

Back in the eighties was a silver LHD car in France also. Wonder if this was also repainted to the later red or was a different one?

Hi don,

That silver one was also a Riviera? i thought the red was orginal on the car,

so maby there are 2 LHD. rivieras inside france,

but my car drives now, and its driving very smothly, i am happy with it, the gear change works perfect,

the automatic does his work very good,

so now we must look for a new owner, it will be a guy how has a collection of lotus cars or just a lotus fan,

that wants to have something really rare...

In the nineties I had almost bought the blue one. But a German near Munich had priority because he was first. He was in the beginning not sure because there was some work on the car. Mostly mechanical. After 10 days neogotiating I had to bite in the dust. My bad luck.

Sorry no photo's
