Ive got a couple of spare seats and fancy doing the same.....

Just seems a mishmash out of the parts bin, strange wheel choices. No disrespect to owners of S1s that have modified there cars with GTE bits, but that's what these car look like.

Now the cars goes to light.

Since december.I'm trying to buy the chrome one or also called Swizz Beatz edition.

Those cars was.parts of the original GTE prototype built by Lotus.

4 of them got standart Evora wishbone (that's why the got turbines or 400 wheels)

They also got the original GTE interior and seat.

I've no indication of price because they never fix one for.the moment!

If someone gome more pics it would be good.

For the total number of GTE I know:  

- 20 rebuilt by Lotus

- 5 at Stratton

- 1 in japan (yellow mat show car)

- 1 black in Liban

One red one in US to iirc. Guy had it built over there, thread here somewhere.

They all have gte front wishbones, as the brake calipers are close to the wheel face, if they had standard calipers they would be sunken into the bodywork. They have standard wheels as they have no spare rear gt350 wheels, just a. Pair of fro to last time I asked. Effectively they are all Gte's, but only 20 turned into GT350's. 

The pictures are here for reference, I'm not offended by them.

Also no '21' Gte converted by Tarmac Terrorist can be added to the list. All these I believe have been gte's at some point. Just the Canadian one which is a conversion ( not that the originals weren't,  just done by mansory/factory).

They should be classed as "continuation" cars. So not part of the original run but later "copies".  It's not uncommon just look at the lovely continuation GT40's from South Africa.

They will never be proper GTE's - turbine wheels FFS. Yeah right...

However, if it is good enough for a DB5, a Jag D type and E Type, etc. Then as long as they are not miss sold no harm eh?

The original GTE's will always be just that. The Originals and their provenance is well documented on here.

For me this car are the original GTE, the 20 are GT350.

There is an other one, mat grey with dark strip, don't know why they didn't show it

That car that you’re talking about is definitely not a GTE/GT350. It’s just an Evora S with the Mansory bits added to it:

This where I get confused as isn't that just what Lotus did as I thought Aerobat had the GTE wishbones/wheels etc too.

It could be a continuation just like Stratton's.
