Evora Lugage

Recommended Posts

Im thinking of doing some touring this summer......and wondered what have people gone for?.....

for the boot/trunk

has anyone found some bags (I presume soft bags rather than hard cases) which have a good fit?....

Ive had the tape measure out and the space is 1.8m x 0.35m x 0.3m...approx....

I was thinking 3 bags at 0.6m long leaving one bag as an over night bag for say the cross-channel ferry.......

then I was thinking of a bag for the back seat......

anyone any thoughts?...experiences?......

just fancy a 'neat' solution......(tidy and easy to pack)

thanks

G

I do like those they look very nice. I did think about buying a plain red one and then get two of these so it looked like bespoke.

Then thinking about it maybe in magnolia leather being the same as my interior would be good.

I saw these.........

but wondered if a good solution had appeared...

the leather bags are very nice just very expensive......:-)  even with 10% off.....

I'll progress to be a FFM........altho' I don't use any of the companies listed....

Im guessing that could change :-)

The money the forum gets helps keep the forum a nice place. The amount of help and time saved Ive had more than makes up for the small sum of 20 quid.

That said I save 10% of over £3,000 when I was buying parts from Stratton so that was also most welcomed!

Those bags you posted look pretty cool. I like the look of some of the canvas bags with leather touches

We have two of these

http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_36536+T43041_-1

Not the most stylish solution in the world but my wife and i had one each, plus a shoe (!) bag and a couple of jackets in the back of the boot.   Worked comfortably for 4 days but could easily be longer if you packed carefully.

It then leaves the rear seats / shelf empty for other things.   We've had a couple of these

on the back seats too.

found something that fit exactly I reckon....3 off them

just need to find out who actually makes them as I bet its not Yamaha

wonder if they do one in pink for the wife?....

black and gold one....and I suppose a yellow and green option...or red n white.....

or ditch the pink one and get one in each of the 3 F1 schemes......

:-)

Apparently I travel with the kitchen sink  :hrhr:

The Evora can pack loads. Two airline cabin type bags and loads of soft bags on the back seats, and loads more soft bags in the boot. Or complete front and rear spare mounted wheels and tires if you are worried about punctures and no service while adventuring   :B)

First up, let's just say the boss isn't a light packer.

We made two road trips in the Evora and found that the back seat can easily take two large carry on bags with enough room left around them for a cooler bag (for water), computer bags, hand bags, scarfs, jackets (I'm still not sure why they were packed as it was summer....) and after all that I still had enough room for my helmet. I was shocked what went in there without blocking the back window. We threw a few odds and ends for the beach in the boot but it was pretty much empty.

I found some cracking overnight bags whilst shopping last night at Cheshire Oaks Outlet in the Henry Lloyd shop. They come in three different colours and complete with Union Jack!

They also come in two different sizes, one was about £80 and the other was £55.

This is the smaller one below
