The way I feel at the moment, I can feel a refund coming on, and seeking an alternative supplier who is prepared to listen to the customer.

Why not just rebuild your own, its not that difficult. I rebuilt mine for my S4s, and while I was at it upgraded it to a T4 on the cold side with a new larger compressor wheel and housing, and upgrade

Correct!

From 1980-88, Lotus used the Garrett T3 turbocharger. It has, turbine  .63 a/r,1.80 inducer (46mm), & compressor: .42 a/r, 1.72 inducer

Here is the info you were looking for direct from Mr.Esprit :-
The Turbocharger on the USA Turbos with Bosch K Injection (86, 87 & 88)

are Garrett T3, Lotus Part No. C910E6372F (Listed in Lotus Parts Book)
Specification as follows :-
0.63 A/R Turbine, 1.90” turbine exducer,
0.42 A/R,  1.72” compressor inducer
55 Trim Comp Wheel

 

S300 turbo PN# 452106-1

These are the specifications I found for the C910E6372F turbine wheel; inducer dia. 59.03 ± 0.127 mm, exducer dia. 45.72 ± 0.127 mm, tip height 9.779 ± 0.127 mm, blades 11, 60 trim, journal bearing dia. 10.1498 - 10.1575  mm, stem dia. 6.3398 - 6.3475 mm
