Horn Slipring cross reference? - Suspension/Brakes/Wheels/Hubs/Steering/Geo - The Lotus Forums #ForTheOwners Jump to content

Just had my car off the road for a year (I don't like to rush these things!!) while I fitted a Vauxhall corsa power steering column to my car. (I don't have a power rack).

It was a bit of cutting and welding but it works a treat!

My car is actually an 88 but has V8 interior and upper steering column which is why I'm asking here.

Anyway... During the year off the road, I've misplaced the slipring for the horn, as well as the spring loaded bit that pushes into it.

My steering column I think must be quite early V8 as its the later Vauxhall type, but isn't an airbag one.

Would anyone know if it is common to another car, probably Vauxhall? Or if not, any ideas where I could get those bits?

Cheers,

Glyn.
