Complete ECM Schematic

Hello Everyone,

It's been a long time since I have posted or replied to anything. I hope this finds everyone in good spirits!

My question is does anyone have a full schematic of the v8 ECM? I have the EMM sections, but this is not what I am looking for. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Nathan

Please can I ask why you wanted a schematic? Were you going to attempt to repair one or build your own?

I ask as I'm working on a replacement and if you did find one then it would assist me too.

Thanks

Alan

Alan,

I have not found the schematics.  I backed off for a while, so haven't been searching.  I wanted to create ECMs for the V8's.  Is yours damaged?

No, mine works but the lack of spares and knowledgeable repairers is becoming a problem for V8 owners. Hence why I am in the process of designing a replacement. I'm pre-empting the dark day when it might happen to me!

I'd be willing to take a look at the ECU issue. My background is in electrical/electronic engineering and I've also been concerned about the lack of ECUs around for the V8 too.

I have an ESD workbench, soldering tools, oscilloscope, voltmeter etc.

Would be willing to share thoughts/knowledge on the topic and publish findings in the forum.

Anyone want to send me a dead one to get started with?

Graham.
