1st service done

Recommended Posts

It's taken me three months, but I finally clocked up 1000 miles for the 1st service which was done today (1001 miles showing as I pulled up at Lotus Silverstone). I'm now really looking forward to being able to fully exploit the car, and perfect timing with the first signs of Spring!

When I picked the car up on 9th December, I had the rear transom panel vinyl wrapped in black, but decided that I wasn't keen on the look, so had it removed today. I also decided to have the L O T U S letters in black and the Exige S badges removed. I still have these so may get them sprayed black as well, but I'm liking the clean rear look without them.

I'll probably lose the Silverstone logo as well.

I love my car

The hardtop will be coming off next.

Black lettering looks great - tempted to get rid of my Exige S name also.

I got Aimee to remove the track symbol before I picked mine up!

I did 270 miles today - picked it up in September, so now on 1,050 miles and ready for running in service on Friday. I do however worry when I consider the rate of progress I was making today at 4.5k max revs :-) ... Do I need any more!?!

Lovely car! Hope to own one some day.

Much better without the Black. De Badging is the way forward ;)

Wayyy, we're finally there! Congrats, Neal. Enjoy the redline.

The back-end looks way better in body colour. Good decision.

As I said on the other place - I think it looks fab.

When are you taking the roof off?

I contemplated taking mine off today, but ran out of time.... and the weather here looks $hite next week.

Can't wait to get a bit of soft-top action :)
