My Exige S Roadster is in need of some TLC after the winter. Can anyone recommed a detailing company in (South) Oxfordshire?

Cheers.

Do you have a black Exige?  I've seen one around recently.

Not too far from you?

Thanks. :)

I've asked them to quote for a mobile enhancement detail.

Yes, a Roadster, currently wearing a hard top.

I've been in and around Henley a fair bit lately (last time was on Sunday evening) so it might be me you've seen.  :)

Might be worth emailing Aimee at Lotus Silverstone, she's super helpful and may be able to recommend who they use or even get it organised for you.

Personally I wouldn't trust any dealers 'valet' to clean my car.

Yes, I saw it in Henley.  Your car looks mean and stealth like!

Have you thought of Revive?  Chap around the corner works for them and does a good job.

I've used Fixed Auto Reading for panels.  They're quite good.

I've got mine booked in at Beau Technique (Loughborough - not suggesting you go that far...) to have a detail and Carbon Collective coating.

Didn't think the price was too bad.

First time I had it out in the sun, the swirls and holograms were frankly embarrassing!

Is this Revive?

They seem very reasonable. The quote from Shine-On was £495 + VAT which I thought was quite steep. :o

How much did Beau Technique quote?

He quoted £390 all in. (although I'm not sure if that's plus VAT..)

Needs it for about 2 days as the ceramic coat needs to cure in his workshop.

He said the bodywork isn't overly bad and should only need one stage with a machine polisher, so I guess saves a bit of time.

Well yes, it can be a bit of a frivolous purchase, but hey.... :)

It's looking shiny -

That looks amazing. :)

I wanted this done primarily for paint protection; I've never been that bothered about keeping the outside of my car clean.

Stunning, well worth the investment.

I've also bought an Aquagleam filter for when I wash it.

In theory, it means after the final rinse I won't need to dry the car, as there won't be any water spots after it's dried naturally.

Therefore, less chance of swirls.

Due to pick it up today, but it's pi$$ing down so will wait until tomorrow.
