Give Brandon a call, I'm sure he's more than willing to talk about it.

As seen elsewhere I'm mid car purchase with him.

To the OP - the only Laser Blue Evora that Murrays have got listed has already been sold: http://www.murraylotus.co.uk/pre-owned-selection/details/6591/SOLD-LOTUS-Evora-2%2B2-2010-%2760%27

However, the Newcastle dealer has got an S listed. Is this the one that you meant?

That laser blue one is my old one, they did have another with forged wheels but it has indeed vanished!

Murrays have been selling A LOT of cars lately so yeah you may well need to be quicker off the mark.

Brandon usually has a list of customers who are waiting on cars in a certain spec.

I put a deposit on mine less than 12 hours it was up for sale and dealer didn't even know they had it in stock because their parent company had listed it on Autotrader on their behalf. I think now you have to be quick if you want a particular spec. As for colour, you have to be even luckier IMO. Spring is already here so demand will be high!

Thanks - I will. It's only taken me the best part of 2 years to find the right colour combo allied to all 3 options packs, a CR box and a sports (2bular its previous owner Gavin informs me) exhaust.

20 hours to go - not that I'm counting, :D.

it took me ages to find mine too......

if I ever stopped to think about it, weigh up the pros and cons, think if I could live with or without something....invariably it'd gone by the time I decided I wanted it.......

The smile hasn't left my face, even when I was asleep so my good lady informs me, :P.

There is just one issue though; the instrumentation seems to be on the blink. According to Google maps (and the satnav) the journey from MMC to my house should have been 16.1 miles but it has been recorded as almost 100. How can that be?

I've got my name down for the Dunbar breakfast meet for an early-into-ownership show-off session. It'll have its wheels gloss black by then (being done right now at The Wheel Specialists - I know, barely 24 hours in and I'm modifying already) but maybe not the part-wrap to complete the SR look, or the barge boards which are sitting in the spare bedroom awaiting the wrap being done first.

Modding is part of the fun!  Not cheap usually, but fun.  At least you never see 2 the same even in Scotland where they seem to breed better than most areas.

If in doubt - speak to Craig!  He'll sort you out.  Congratulations.  Well I'm offshore for the Power Station meet still unfortunately as I'd like to have seen it, but I'll be there at Petit Paris in May or wherever we end up.  I'll see it eventually.

Congratulations.

Next on the modifications list is having a part-wrap done to replicate the Sports Racer look (along with black badging) then the barge boards can go on. After that I'm looking at a BOE CAI and possibly a Difflow diffuser, if it will fit around my ASBO exhaust.

Here are some pics taken yesterday. The light was far from ideal and my phone camera hasn't captured the Laser Blue too well I'm afraid.
