Bravo73 1,291
I don't know, I'm afraid. I 'run' the 400 sizes on my 19/20" wheels. Don't be afraid to go up a width size if your particular size isn't offered.

Chris J 55
Ah, that was it, the 225/40 18" for the front only came in a lower load rating of 88, rather than the OEM 92. I think the load rating should be fine but as I hadn't heard of anyone else using them on the N/A it scared me off enough to try the Yokohamas.

They are available in 92, the 88 was shown because the 92's were out of stock.
Chris J 55
Doesn't seem to be the case in the UK - Michelin's website brings up the Supersport as an option if you search for 225/40 18" with an 88 load rating, but not 92. Odd.
Bravo73 1,291
Have you tried actual suppliers (like Tyreleader et al)?
swanny71 53
225/40/18 Super sports are popular in BMW 1 Series circles, lots of people moaning that the 92Y load rating version is no longer available. 88Y sidewalls are too soft for the quicker 1 series cars and cause excessive outside shoulder wear. I'm using Pilot Sport 4 on my 130i and they are exceptionally good tyres - might be worth a look? Edited September 30, 2016 by swanny71
Chris J 55
Yes, all the big online suppliers, same result each time, 88s only. This was back in July this year.
B430m 18
Sorry you are right, just received an email from the tyre supplier. "Goodmorning Michael , FRONTS 225/40r18 (only list as ) 88Y ( do not list 92Y ) REARS 255/35r19 ( are ) 96Y Please check you Vehicle Tyre Placcard for load Index requirements thanks Simon" Looks like I'll be sticking with the original Pirelli's. I realise that the kg/tyre is less than the OEM tyre but the 88W (560kg) should be adequate for the Evora at 265/430kg per axle. I'm still on my first set on my 18's - wear rates seem better than the Perellis and they have been pretty great for road use IMO. They are down to 4mm at the rear and yesterday's drive to work had a couple of twitchy moments coming out of junctions but I'd put that down to my heavy right foot - it's 8C and drizzly so not ideal for summer tyres. daniel_2811 0
I've heard the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 perform very good on the Evora's 18"/19". Have you thought about those?

A set will be going on the Exige later this year.
