Rear boot - Interior/Exterior/Lights/Glass/Alarms/ICE/HVAC - The Lotus Forums Jump to content

Recommended Posts

I can see in the manual that there is supposed to be, or available, some boards to surround the rear boot.

Today I have plenty of space in the back, but not to much use as items is not secured anyway.

Are these side boards and carpeting missing from my Lotus?

How have your arranged your rear boot?

Is the boot bag the way to go?

Please, if you have any photos to share.

Thanks

Lars

The boards with carpets were fitted from 1985 onwards. Before that the bags were fitted.

The bag considerably reduces the available space.

But without it, if you put hard items in the boot, there is a risk of them bumping into the inside of the body on the left side, which could potentially cause cracks in the body.

Thanks for the reply.

Seeems to be an added value to make the rear boot more usefull.

As of today I find it difficult to transport items, for reasons as your are mentioning.
