I wonder why it is called 'central' locking when it is on the doors? They're not in the centre.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

I just found this thread and thought I would post my central locking method. I also used the Hawk system. I tried mounting the motor horizontally (note spare hole) but being offset from the axis

Just an update on this. I was getting intermittent non-operation of the Hawk actuators owing to not being strong enough so in the end I binned them and ordered some stronger ones from China on Ebay. T
