The run will meet at the Aberdeen Beach Esplanade at 9am

LINE UP ALONG THE ESPLANADE.
If we all point South and park at an angle this should make a good photo opportunity.

Destination this year is House of Dun (NTS), Montrose via Kirktown Garden Centre.

Owners are welcome to join the Run whether they are members of the Club or not.

The GVRS Run will set off at 9:30 along the Boulevard to King St. Union St. and Holburn St.
Turn left at the roundabout onto Great Southern Road.
At theBridge of Dee roundabout take the second exit on to Leggart Terrace.
Continue on the B9077 and turn left onto the B979 Netherley Road and continue to Stonehaven.
At the Stonehaven roundabout turn right for the town centre.
Turn right just after the bridge over the Cowie River (Belmont Brae)
Turn right onto Bath St. cross the A947 onto Westfield Road then turn right onto Arduthie Road.
Continue through the railway bridge (traffic lights) and onto Kirkton Road.
Pass the supermarket and after 100 yards turn left onto Broomhill Road.
Continue until you cross the bridge over the dual carriageway.
Arrive at the Kirktown Garden Centre on the left (AB39 3UP).
After coffee & shopping, leave the Centre and turn left then immediately left again.
At the junction turn right onto the A92, Montrose Road.
At Montrose bear left onto the North Esk Road then turn right at the traffic lights onto the A935 Brechin Road.
Continue for 3 miles and turn right into the House of Dun entrance.
Distance is approximately 45 miles.
House of Dun is a beautiful example of an Adam Style House with lovely gardens to explore.
There is a Restaurant available for lunches but if you want to take a picnic please do so.
After your visit you are at liberty to visit any of the other interesting attractions in the area or make your way home.

 

Club Lotus North East Scotland.

A North Of Scotland club for all Lotus car enthusiasts, all ages welcome, cars new and old, we are affiliated to the national Club Lotus. My Husband John and I run the Club Lotus North East Scotland and at present we have 85 members who mostly are all members of Club Lotus our parent club. ;) We are a small group of enthusiasts of Lotus cars based in the North East of Aberdeen, although we have members from as far afield as Perth Australia. We have no hard and fast rules and as a club only ask that our members respect the thoughts and freedom of other's and to respect wherever we visit or venture as a group under the Club Lotus BannerWe are officially recognised by the National Club Lotus and abide by the rules of the Lotus Club. Hi Jim, nice to chat on Sunday and thanks for taking the pics again. Hopefully next year you will mange to join the run.
