Guest Mutley00
They suffer badly from the dreaded tinworm and nearly 7% disappear off our roads every year. Mine wasn't imported till 1999 so whilst UK cars were rotting over here for 10 years mine was leading a pampered life in Japan and is unwelded and rock solid underneath. neil e
It most certainly is way faster. The trannie has two throttle positions. Off and flat out its as simple as that. Ear muffs are a option when flat out at 98! You get home in reasonable time as people tend to stay clear. I have no idea why ? Must be the gerning look on the driver......... nello
It went through a sef-initiated full rebadging program Mark I think I was actually the first person in the country to do it and have helped a couple of others through the process now. neil e
Vivaros are way better......... Bloody sauce. Have had a few duels with most vans........errrrr lost most! I carry to much crap. Won against the milk float though so thats got to count for something.. they certainly don't rust as fast as transits LOL . 11 yrs old 185 k and apart from a couple of minor stone chips that have rusted its rust free. Undernearth as well.Keeps passing mot. The one I had before rotted inside out like a bad apple. Run this into the ground then buy another. Glutten for punishment I must be. Gold FFM Barrykearley Posted June 6, 2015 Gold FFM Report Share Posted June 6, 2015 We had an 06 vw caravelle - t5 - they are without doubt the best van in the world - so car like. However - they are twice the price of pretty much any other van of their size..........when moving stuff and using it as a mobile tool box.....let's face it they ain't worth double the money!!! Transits are weird like that, I know of a mixture of them locally all similar age yet as you say some rust free yet others rusted to the core! I had a long line of astra vans, which Vauxhall discontinued couple years ago, I think their combo van is butt ugly and I don't much like any of the French offerings. So other than the caddy theirs not anything else. So I took the plunge and bought the top of the range 2.0l caddy highline ! Bloody expensive as you say though !
