How are you finding keeping the black paint in stunning condition?

Nightmare. About to go clean now. We have very hard water here so trying one of those filter thingies for the first time for rinsing. Going back to [email protected] for its annual once over in a couple of months.

Getting mine done professionally before I pick the car up from the dealer.

My exige sprint in yellow/white is a breeze to keep the paintwork stunning. My LF1 will be my first car in black! Should be a challenge!

Do you know if it's possible to purchase the carbon fiber 'Lotus Performance" plaque on the supercharger?

I tried to get a replacement LF1 build plaque for mine. Lotus said they could not, or it would be horrendously expensive. Not convinced TBH as I heard one of the LF1 had the wrong plaque (and the promo photos of #5 had a misprint which I believe was corrected). Imagine the engine plate is less exclusive and easier to replicate.

One day will investigate a company that can make one up the same.

My plaque, no dot above the last 'i' in Circuit and technically the Circuit is called Dijon-Prenois and not Dijon. Lotus are getting me a replacement!

Another one, Jim Clark, I always wished that Lotus had put the drivers name on these plaques.

Thanks for the photo, I designed a few plaques with more details, head over to the facebook page to see them....

I expect there was some licencing reason for omitting the driver names, not heard anything, but I expect there is a good reason (cost?) for them not being there. I seem to remember being told there was significant licencing issues to get the LF1 to what it is.

Can you post the pics on this thread, some of us don't use FaceBook?
