My old girl is on the mend but just to add to the stress, she has a large ulcer on her left eye which require eye drops 4 times a day, the problem is they sting so she's not too keen.

Poor old girl needed another operation for 2 new cancerous growths, one on her hind leg and one under her chin. Despite the recent run of bad luck with this, we're hopeful that she'll not have any more for a couple of years. This optimism is based on previous occurrence timeline and a full body check from a specialist oncology vet.

She's so full of love and life, we decided it was still in her best interest to sort the lumps.

She has a full body suit to help cover the plasters but she's like Houdini and manages to take it off!

Due to the stitches being in an area under tension, they had to put vertical slits in her skin so it can stretch a bit so it looks a bit messy until it heals. Attaching dressings to a mobile joint is never an easy task, made worse by the fur.

Her chin/neck was much more straightforward and has some dissolving stitches in it. 

Finally, here she is when she's feeling fine
