Very sad, sorry to hear. Again, good on you for giving him some affection and pleasure in his final weeks.

Over here, Junior is doing fine.
He has become a real strong German sheppard. He gained weight (in a good way, muscles) and he runs next to my bike like crazy and a lot more endurance. He loves it. He got some attitude at home, when visitors arrive, so now and then We have to correct him. On the other hand, my wife Sabine, has done 2 examens in the dog obidience training school, both with succes, so they moved up two groups in 2 months. Trainers say, he really loves to work with her.

@Barrykearley please show the 'after after' picture of you wearing this year's must have fashion accessory home knit jumper :P

Most appropriate after the winter we've just enjoyed. Not sure one jumper per annum would qualify as a cottage industry though......

Is the price for that bit in Yen or £?

Before and after. This little dog belongs to one of our foster children and came to live here with her 4 weeks ago.

@eclat22 "she's cross boarder collie"

As a lover of that particular breed, I can confirm that there ain't a lot worse than a cross Border Collie!

badger1.thumb.jpg.9c8fede0c90a27f24a7e4cdaed5af257.jpg

This is Badger about a year ago. We lost our previous BC whilst on Holiday in Scotland (not an experience I can recommend!) and it took me 2 years before I could bear to take the plunge again.

Badger is a short coated sable BC (supposedly, but I'm not convinced he isn't part Jack Russell!!) - He is bloody cute though! (unlike his owner!)

Is the price for that bit in Yen or £?

I used to live with a border collie springer spaniel mix named Miko, when he was around 2-4. Great dog in every way, except he would apparently bark non-stop when we left the house.

He looked a lot like this

With Enzo we purposefully don't talk to him or make any fuss when we come or go from the house. We didn't want him to get separation anxiety. It worked well, he doesn't bark at all, just calmly sits there as we leave or when we return, doesn't bark during the time he is alone (have a camera on him).  he really only barks when he wants to play tug.
