WHY PUT IT AWAY?! :P

Prepare now for that CHRISTMAS HOON!!!!!!!!!!!

At least for me, there's nothing like a quick trip through the hills around Watkins Glen and/or the Finger Lakes!!!

(With maybe a stop or two at some of the local establishments to warm up w/ a cup of cheer!) <_<

Been testing cold weather capabilities of all systems, especially my little battery (12lb Hawker Odyssey, for personal watercraft). Happy to say, it still cranks it over @ 22 degrees F, W/ 9.25:1 compression!!

Don't let a little frost or mud bother you!! They don't rust!! GET ON IT! HOON AWAY!!!

Best of the holidays to all!

Lee

PS: the date is wrong in the pics, I took it yesterday. Got up to 45 to 50 degrees here in the Northeast. We've had absolutely gorgeous weather here!

I'd love to do some more Espriting before the end of the year, but I can't see it happening. My MOT runs out on the 3rd of January (bad planning by the previous owner!) and it picked up a crack in the windscreen a week or two ago so I know it would fail the annual test at the moment.

Chances of getting a fitter to instal the new 'screen between now and the New Year whilst fitting in with my timetable? Slim.

It'll probably be sorted by the time the Parts Sale happens, though!!

Nice Photos Lee :P

We have quite muddy conditions in here now. And I'm a polishing/cleaning addict so it's better to keep the Esprit in the garage <_<

Actually couple of weeks ago I said if this weather continues (it was +10celsius and dry) I'll take the Esprit for Christmas drive.

Check my blog and leave comments/suggestions Jussi's photography blog

See you in G+ Jussi Alanko in Google+

Brrrrr, looks chilly there.

Been out in mine today, I try to give it a hr run ever week in the winter to keep it going, very slippery and too much understeer <_<

I admire you winter lot, I just cant generate the enthusiasm for cold weather.

Lee, I jost LOVE your front numberplate...now, if I could put one of those on the back as well....cameras, I've sh@t 'em!!! By the way,Gatso is short for Gatsonides who was a rally and racing driver before his obvious mental breakdown and defection. Sadly, my turbo won't be doing much as the engine is now attached to an engine stand in my nice heated workshop, pending new pistons and liners and whatever else seems necessary - but just wait until Spring!!

Dave,

Definately lowered, crap for tires (yokohamas on back are bald!) I would like to find more yokohamas, but I don't believe they're offered any longer in 235 width.

Both fuel filler caps are out since I have an 8 gal. atl 'well cell' fuel cell up front. I may put the 'dummy' caps back on, or cover the inner, small hole w/ a bit of carbon fibre or black aluminum (may look like a dry break).

The biggest problem w/ the lowering is that the spax shocks are too long, so they compress completely on a bump. I'm worried that I may hit hard enough to shake the car apart!

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for asking Dave.

Wishing all a safe and happy Holiday.

Cheers, Lee
