LF1 wanted for display at 'Classics at the Castle'

Recommended Posts

I was at the Lotus day at Castle Combe today and was approached by a man who is organising a charity event at Sherborne Castle in Dorset called Classics at the Castle on Saturday 19th July. This is an annual event which, this year, has a feature display of Lotus cars. He saw my car and asked if I would display it as part of the feature. I would have jumped at the chance but will be away that weekend so can't do it.

I said to him that I would post on here to see if any other LF1 owner is interested in showing theirs. The car will be part of the feature display and you won't have to pay the usual entry fee but, since they are raising money for Cancer Research UK, it might still be good to shove some dosh their way.

If you are interested then PM me and I will pass on his phone numbers.

I really wanted to go to this as it's very near where I keep my G Turbo Esprit but am being dragged to a party with the in-laws instead. Would much rather be there!
