unity1
You managed 9 months on your last tank, by my reckoning. My last tank has lasted 7 years !!! not many miles mind you.. Back on topic I usually got around 25mpg... Or and afternoon if 'making progress through the twisties' depending on how you look at it. Gold FFM Barrykearley Posted June 25, 2015 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted June 25, 2015 Well after my new iac valve - so far I'm up to 192 miles with between 1/3 and 1/2 a tank still left. I'd be at the petrol station by now - that valves made a huge huge difference. Strange thing was the af ratio always looked right on freescan - I suppose it was just banging more fuel and air in all the time - buy wasn't showing as rich running .......... Did have a bit of a rev splurge earlier though - so will swap the rest of the vac pipes later on when she's cool Quote Only here once

Mike6
My last tank full has lasted 4 months and not shown any consumption. Mind you the car is in pieces and I am still pondering about repairing or setting her on fire.
Gold FFM Barrykearley Posted June 26, 2015 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted June 26, 2015 Was that on a left of right hand bend.. . Nope - actually on the flat !!! I'm stunned to be honest in the change. Did the revving twice tonight - vac pipes tomorrow - and going to have a good long hard look at the tps. I need an extension lead for the laptop and see exactly what changes when My last tank full has lasted 4 months and not shown any consumption. Mind you the car is in pieces and I am still pondering about repairing or setting her on fire. Fix it man fix it Quote Only here once
