I had one way back when, but in the original RS-blue. Remember doing Munich to St. Anton regularly in the winter in under two hours (over the Fernpass) ! Also fun at traffic lights, even a 2CV would accelerate faster over the first two seconds until the turbo kicked in. But when it did, it was almost tooo late to hit the brakes again.

If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®!

Huh? There are probably more Morgans on the roads now then there has ever been. Morgans (like certain other marques) have got a very high survivor rate. They will be more often restored than scrapped.

I had a similar C70 for commuting to Work.  (around the quiet streets of West Worthing)  It was one of the best mechanical objects I've ever owned...   (even at 15 years old and purchased for £18).   Impossibly frugal and required pretty much zero maintenance.   Chassis rust may have killed off the ones that are no longer in the shed.   They still fetch very good money on Ebay

I used a C50 for about four years to commute to work. It had a C70 engine, and did an incredible 140 mpg! It once seized up whilst on a dual carriageway going to Canterbury. The back wheel locked up at a full 49 mph, and I shit my pants. Managed to keep it upright, let it cool down, and off it went again. Superb thing, never, ever failed to start, even in the dead of winter, and it was just left outside uncovered. The cats loved sleeping on it, too. Superb machines.

Spotted this beauty on my walk into football this afternoon. Amazing that any survive really, what rust buckets they were. I bet there are a few Firenzas hanging around though...
