While we're on the subject of race-modded-and-entirely-fucking-unsellable Swedish Esprits...here's another!

Sure does - two nice gold strips up the bonnet and over the roof should do the trick.......

Reckon it looks as mean as hell itself - here goes....... ( hiding ) a part of me likes it

I like it. While I wouldn't like to have it as my only Esprit, I would surely like it as another Esprit.

I also think it would make the jar on every single child and riser-tuner hit the ground in a seriously fast movement = expensive dentist bills ;)

Those Öhlins are not the cheapest and worst suspension components on the planet. Me like. A lot.

Kind regards,

Jacques.

I love it to be honest. So okay, the Originalistas don't like it but it has been done and that is the owner's prerogative (something like the Rover V8 engined Esprit I read on here). There's something quite horny about outrageousness that turns me on too...

I tempted fate...now my Esprit V8 IS in bits...(sob)

Well, to be honest, it does not turn me on. But it does make me want to turn it's ignition key on.  ;)  ;)  ;)

Warm it up and give it some beans. And isn't that the purpose of a great sportscar?

Another thing is that many cars which are given the full monty in "add-on" treatment of parts, spoilers, what not, simply looks stupid. This Esprit had the full catalogue too, but it just made it look even meaner and faster.

Cheers,

Jacques.

The steering too might be slightly compromised...

But at least there is ample room for wearing a propper helmet when dooing track days.

But the thinly padded steering Wheel must be a plus for the classic-minded drivers.

Cheers,

Jacques.

S4 - end of :-)

Why is this topic still going after the above?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

Worked on one with those 2 wings a while back.  Owner thought it looked well cool.

British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland.  And Shitfaced Silly Sod to Sweden.
