marcbria
Hi guys, Does anyone know how much clearance there needs to be between the flange of the outputshaft on an S1 transmission where the rotors bolt on to the outer edge of the drive shaft housing. My understanding is that since the output shaft is loaded as the roller bearings in the drive shaft housing wear the output shaft works its way inwards until eventually its rubbing against the face of the housing and they both begin to wear. While looking at mine, I put a light underneath the transmission and can clearly see a gap between the flange and the housing. So I think its good, please take a look at this picture and let me know what you think. You can seal the light getting through on the right edge, you can't see it in the photo but its about the same on the left. Thanks, Brian
