Y'ello, I'm new, too!

Howdy, I'm from Salt Lake City and have an advanced case of "LD", sometimes called "Lotus Disease".

Prior to getting my Elan, I had only ever seen one Lotus in my entire life (in person), and it was a red Esprit. I still have seen very few of them (I think 6 or 7 now), and each time is a treat.

One of the great thing about British cars in general is that anyone else who has one is almost an instant friend. This is much more true when talking about Lotus, as it's almost like you've known each other for years already.

I have a '70 Elan +2, '77 Esprit S1, and (if you care) an '80 Triumph TR7 Convertible.

Just thought I'd say hi and mention that the kindness and professionalism I've seen on this forum so far is superior to many others I've used in the past. I hope we can all share a few stories and "fix 'ums" about our cars.

Haha, thanks for the replies! I did notice that my TR7 has the same exterior door handles, and my Elan has the same interior door handles. At least I know where to go for those!

Welcome to the forum. Your TR7 can supply lots of bits like headlamp motors and S2 switches.
