Back in the fold !

So after a gap of three years, I've finally bought another Esprit. This one's a Racing Green GT3 (not Pacific Blue for a change !) and apparently one of the last 13 ever made during 1999.

I think it's absolutely gorgeous and managed to post it on just about every imaginable page on Facebook.

I've already been reminded about the futile heater and has anyone any suggestions how to tease a little warmth out of it ?

The mirror adjusting switch has also had it and I can't remember what it originally came from, was it a Cavalier/Vectra or a Sierra ?

Noticed my username has changed from Newts to newto2c which I used for a little while but managed to get it changed, any suggestions on reverting this ?

Anyway, sure I'll bump into a few of you again shortly

Ah another GT3 owner, welcome back.  As for the heater, mine is fine although it does seem to be either on or off.  Mirror switch is Cavalier as far as I know

Hello Laika, I kept looking at the ad for weeks then spoke to the owner a few times and then got him to send me pictures before trekking up to see it and that was a fatal move as my destiny was sealed by then !

Thanks Dan, how's the Mutant going ? I remember reading your build updates.  I don't have the patience to do something like that myself but would love a similarly upgraded S2.2

Hi Colin, 

Looks lovely mate, yes mutant all good and going well when i get chance to use it. The other mutant is three steps forward and two steps back. !  Limited time on the car and until i build another workshop the build has stopped. next few months will get going again hopefully.building on the house and general life got in the way, but will hit it hard when i get workshop done.

Love that colour, in fact I think Esprit's like most super cars look better in bright colours but got mine at a good price so accepted the colour.

The ad doesn't say what the mileage was, can you remember what it was ?
