Hexagon currently have one for sale. It made a pleasant change to spec it like this, compared to all the "Black Pack and Black Alloys" cars out there. A little more sophisticated-looking as an "urban" automatic too! PLUS it saved around £3500, which more than covered the auto gearbox option. It looks even better in the flesh, so hopefully there will be a few more like this. Edited January 19, 2016 by JonoSeven

Gold FFM C8RKH Posted January 23, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted January 23, 2016 Nice. Leave the callipers yellow and a nice yellow double stripe down the middle and you get something akin to this... Quote I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.
Gold FFM JayEmm Posted March 5, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 5, 2016 Question - has anyone seen or photoshopped what an Evora would look like with the front bit (is it a splitter, what is it) painted body colour? Before cars were coming off the assembly line, Gator Motorsports in the US took a photoshop stab at what the 400 would look like in the announced colors. Somebody asked him to render one image without the black cowl. http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f170/2016-lotus-evora-400-official-specifications-colour-choices-options-286937/index3.html#post3872633

MickOpalak
I really appreciate this topic since here in the US they haven't announced what colors will be offered yet. I'd like to see more pix of Velvet Red and Racing Green. The green confuses me because in some pictures it is very dark, and in others very light. Are they offering two different greens? The same for the blue. Also, does anyone have some good pix of the standard interior without the leather or alcantara options?
Gold FFM JayEmm Posted March 5, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 5, 2016 The Lotus colour palette has been simplified quite a bit recently. Some colours are new, others are renamed versions of existing colours. British Racing Green is a colour that's affected by the weather. I gather it will look a lot lighter in California than it does in Norfolk! MickOpalak
For example, is this green in my post the same green as above? They certainly look like two different colors.
Gold FFM JayEmm Posted March 5, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 5, 2016 I'm fairly sure that's British Racing Green. I know Lotus also did a Motorsport Green, which I think was different... there are others who know infinitely more than me. All I can tell you is the Lotus Configurator on their website is so inaccurate for colour it's not funny. They do themselves a huge disservice with that thing! DAV1D
Colin posted one in Motorsport Green... The darker green is called racing green
Colin G
Yup, a few posts up. For what it's worth, in my opinion, probably one of the best colours you could buy a 400 in.
BWex
How about that Pearl White color, they show in the exclusives brochure? Anyone know what that looks like on any Lotus?
Trevsked
Not that you can tell much from the pic but this is a Pearl White. Quote I'll get around to it at some point.
Gold FFM JayEmm Posted March 6, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 Doesn't look that much different in normal pics from the solid white, considering it's the most expensive paint option you can buy from the Lotus catalogue. I guess the difference is in the finish. PaulCP
i don't think you will see the difference in any pictures. The difference is noticeable in the flesh, more of a silky pearl finish
Gold FFM JayEmm Posted March 6, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 I'm generally not a fan of white on cars, although I do lust after a GP white Turbo Esprit with black bumpers... The Evora 400 really suits bright colours, but carbon grey appeals too Quote James Martin (JayEmm) Director of Photography & Car Enthusiast Follow my Lotus adventure online! www.jayemm.com

Colin G
Didn't even notice they had a black with red yesterday when I was in! Dropping my car off this afternoon to get a wee job done, will have to stick my head in the showroom again.
j2 lot
James, Black with red leather, spec I would choose including I.P.S. (it looks lighter in the photograph but that's probably the effect of the showroom lights and a phone pic) Mine is only a year old though so too much of a hit to trade it now but sorely tempted.
