I don't support Trump @Loquacious Lew He's far to far to the right for me. However I could tell last time he came back from a long way behind to win so had a bet ages ago when he was 15 points behind. Got bloody good odds.

All this focus on Trump and Biden means that the real race for true power is being largely ignored by the masses.  

Congress or the Senate has not materially shifted colour from Red to Blue as expected, so Biden as President will need to coax and carefully steer his policies through which will probably mean a lot of much needed, progressive policy changes, will be neutralised or water down.

The Democrats thought they would expand their majority in the House of Representatives, but instead it looks like their majority is being eroded.

Feels to me like Biden will be a lot like Obama. A genuine and good statesmen without the ability to really drive through major policy changes due to a split congress/house.

So maybe this is was more about Trump V Biden than Democrats v Republicans, if that makes sense.

Interesting times.

I can't help but think that people, well in the rest of the world anyway, will realise that Trump has simply proven that he does not care about the voice of the people and is only worried about himself.
I never cease to be gobsmacked at the rubbish he comes up with.

Thought it was interesting that several USA channels cut his talking short and apologised saying they could not leave it going with all of the baseless claims he is making.

Right back at the start, I thought he might have been good. When he mimicked the physically challenged guy to the laughter of his supporters, that was the end of my interest in him.

Trump's bordering on fascism, with a growing anti-democratic stance, he's seeking to undermine democratic process to further his own political agenda. The GOP should call him out and oust him asap. If you're going to support Trump's tactics, just make sure you're aware of whether you're supporting your political ideals, or whether you're supporting the undermining of a legally endorsed political process.
