You're right that doesn't help.........it actually makes the task of finding one sound even more of a challenge ha ha!!

I got a new one for my '86 from SJs and theirs still appear readily available.  You guys will already know that, so the '82 bottle must be different to the '86?  Maybe you can buy a new hanger bracket and fit a later one?  Not original but better than no MOT.

I've not had an MOT failure as it leaks from towards the top and is a very slow leak.

I've seen several for sale that would fit but none that match the original and for me it has to be original 

Agree with Mike however that better a non original than no MOT

Also fitted to Scimitar GTE so worth looking in that area too.
