S3 & TURBO DOOR CHECK STRAP

Hi guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my door check straps to the later type S3 and Turbo, I've not found any pics of the parts mounted on the door beam, does anyone have some pics to post to see details of the assembly? All other parts are the same and in common with the early spring type of the S1/S2 so fitment would be easy but I want to be sure the later type do not use the sliding plate, not reported on the Parts List but knowing Lotus Manual....

The later type does not use the sliding plate, the parts book shows the later type, but not sure why you would want to change from the sliding plate to non-sliding as the early type works fine.

Thanks Andy, reason to change is that one side slider plate is broken and not usable, not available anywhere and 2 hand is more than a new later type unit...so I will change the two side. does It work well?
