Pre 85 Front Suspension

Guys and Girls

Someone in here has fitted later type shocks/springs to the front of a pre 85 Esprit but I cant for the life of me find the post, info or anything else in here!!!!!!!

Another question for Kato!!!!!

Are Lotus definately producing a shock/spring upgrade for these cars???? Spoke to Dave I think (Lotus Tech Bloke) at the parts sale and he says its unlikely!!!

Would be good to know for sure as this is something I'm looking to replace, would be a shame to fit new lotus rear and A/Nother type to the rear....

If someone knows where the info is on fitting the new shocks to the old car It'd be mosta appreciated..

Seem to remember it involved cutting a section out of the lower spring pan to allow room for the lower maont and body of the shock and then the whole lot fitted good!!!

Info would be great cheers
