Anyone got a jump pack?

Blloody cold weather did my battery in. Normally run it at least twice a week but left it for a week with the ice on the ground and it's dead. I'm in little melton.

Recommend a CTEK MXS 5 charger.  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CTEK-MXS-5-0-12v-5A-Car-Bike-Caravan-Boat-8-Step-Automatic-Smart-Battery-Charger-/182003119364?hash=item2a603b3504:g:JJgAAOSw-zxWonA1

All CTEK chargers can be left connected and will only charge when volts drop but the MXS 5 has a 'reconditioning programme' that knocks the sulphate off the plates of a dead battery and gets them going again.

Bought mine several years ago and couldn't live without it. Fitted a dash mounted socket to the Elan for easy connection and LED to tell me when it's needed.

It sits outside this year Phil and no plug anywhere near I'm afraid.

Andy, where she is, backed up round the side of the house, we have tried to jump from my wifes car but the leads won't reach because you can't get a car close enough.

DOH! Was hoping to start her this weekend and take her for a spin.

Mine sits on the drive and wasn't very close either so I bought 3 of these ...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CTEK-Comfort-Connect-2-5m-Ext-Cable-/391307444829?hash=item5b1bbdc25d:g:59EAAOSwI-BWM3WL

I eventually got round to putting an outside socket in the porch to save me feeding the mains plug through the letterbox, so now I only need two to get to the Elan.  I'm much happier leaving a 12V lead across the drive and into the car than a 240V extension lead.  CTEK plugs and sockets are weatherproof rubber and have proved excellent in rain and under snow.
