V8 EGR Temperature Sensor Cross Reference

Recommended Posts

I have nearly completed a complete listing of V8 ECMs, sensors and actuators as part of my replacement ECM project but I can't find a cross reference or alternative for the EGR temperature sensor (All US and ROW from '01 MY). Does anybody know or have a spare that they could look at for me and see if their are any part numbers or identifying marks? I've spent about four hours on it and I'm getting rather frustrated!

Lotus part no. A918E6040F, so V8 specific.

Listed as stock by SJ and elise-shop.com

It's not a GM part as far as I can tell, the closest are some Volvo types. It doesn't feature on any other Lotus models (M100, S1 Elise etc.)

Grrrrrrrrrr!

Anything remotely Saab ??

Nope unfortunately. There's lots of similar shaped sensors but nothing with that connector and not many with a short cable. It almost looks like it could be "Lotus factory part only. Not released to aftermarket." Which would be a right pain.
