Just thought I'd pop this up as had a really good day yesterday at on the GP track. A kind chap called Mark posted on PH that he had a spare ticket and I was available so I jumped.

The day started out rather cold and damp and as you probably know racing circuits are 'interesting' in those conditions. Useful, though as we were able to build speed gradually as the morning progressed instead of going balls out from the word go, not wise.

The vid is from Marks car, a fire breathing monster Merc C63 with eleventybillion hp and an exhaust valve thingy that makes it snarl ! 

I go wide more than once at Copse and Becketts needs a little more fine tuning, well everywhere does really...

Just as a comparison with the newer cars of today I get overtaken on the Hangar straight at 7:05 an Exige S comes flying past like I'm standing still...

All good practice for the upcoming season and barring a gear linkage issue which I managed to fix, the car was faultless. 

The organiser was Circuit Days who I haven't had the pleasure of using before but they were very good. Thanks also to My 'Burton' (that's not his name) who lent me his box of bits.
