I am keen to hear back too as Jonny is no novice on track ;) Probably the environment where I expect it would have to try hardest to impress a V6 Cup owner I would think too

Indeed the track is V6 Cup's backyard and it was mighty today as usual. Convinced it still has the edge over the Sport 350. Just to make it even harder for the Sport 410, there was another car there with the same engine and many fewer kgs - the 311. There will be laptimes!

No 400s there for comparsion unfortunately. Great day though, one to restore anyone's faith in Lotus.

I'm in no way paid by B&C, in fact it's the complete reverse, I pay them, including for today's trackday which was worth every penny. They put together the most fantastic day today, I hugely appreciate the time I had in their cars. I've been saying for a while now that anyone who's unsure about trackdays to book with them. We only had 6 cars on track at any one time. In the last session I had the whole place to myself!

Well this information is publicly available, their calendar has been online all year. See for yourself when the next one is if you're interested. It's not up to me to promote their events just sharing my experience.

I did check their Facebook, but last trackdays listed were 2016.

So thankyou for posting the link.

In the meantime it would be really helpful if you, or some other 400 owner, could set a laptime around Castle Combe!

No magazine is going to do a proper comparison with the 400 so if we want one we'll have to do it ourselves.

You know I'll happily provide the 400 for that, although mine is not standard anymore

I will be taking my 410 to a by invitation track day at Castle Combe on 27th July.  If anyone is interested in taking a 400 for comparison purposes let me know.  It is £385. Not the cheapest day but you are pretty much guaranteed to pass the noise inspection as only 6 cars on track at a time.  Also includes breakfast and lunch.

Go on Jonny, It might not be your ideal liquid yellow, but you know you could live with it!

Interesting how the camera does not see the yellow well in all light. I would say a quarter of pictures people send of my car it looks orange

Yes joined the 410 team. Ever since trying one out I've struggled not to want one , with only the Mc 540/570 being the other car I'd have come out of the Cup for.

As Bibs mentions the Motorsport Black really pings in sunlight and much prefer the darker colours on the Evora with the really bright ones reserved for the Elise/Exiges. No radio but have fitted ac, I'll spray/vinyl the tea tray.

Revelling in the luxury of carpets, amused that there is less overall rear visibility than in an Exige :)

Carbon is dribblesome and overall fit n finish really impressive. Engine is noticeably smoother and more turbine like than the 350.

Now starts the countdown to the 1000 mile service....

I love the Motorsport black with its gold flake
