Gold FFM JayEmm Posted January 8, 2017 Gold FFM Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 It would only take one phone call to Lotus to find out but I see no reason why not. I am sure if they knew it would make them a sale they wouldn't have a problem with it. In terms of the "routine" maintenance, there isn't any particularly scary about the car as far as I know. The major job that scares everyone is the clutch but when you're talking about new cars I can't see the clutch getting worn during the warranty period (and it's a consumable anyway). Lotus don't have the world's greatest dealer network, but they are expanding. It's something of a chicken and an egg situation. No-one's going to want to open a dealership if they don't expect to have any customers.
